Far Journeys/ Ultimate Journey by Robert Monroe

I did not read these books back to back, but close enough. I also do not remember enough of the difference between the two to really separate them in my brain.

That said, this was the first time that I realized that books come to us when we are ready for them. I did not have a great experience reading the first book in this trilogy. However, after I learned more about the other side, I recognized that perception is a key factor when it comes to interpreting what other people ‘see’ of the other side. We all have different experiences that drive us to see in a different way when we interact with spiritual concepts.

I decided to give Robert Monroe another shot. I was eager to review his material through the eyes of someone that understood a little bit more about the journey of our souls with Michael Newton. I am so glad that I did. Robert Monroe took a different approach with these books in terms of his technique for generating his out-of-body experiences (OBEs). He approached it in a more meditative way than before and everything became ‘clearer’ in a way. Or at least, it did to me.

Through this book, I learned more about what happens when we decide to no longer incarnate on Earth. I learned about other places that people incarnate on and why Earth appears to be so unique. By creating a perception that we are disconnected from the infinite souls, life becomes so precious. We push ourselves to learn so much because we believe that this could be all there is. Without death, life would become stagnate. We get to come to Earth, play in the biggest role-playing event, and then come back and do it again as a different character. However, we travel with the same friends and parties that we did before because that is what makes these lives filled with meaning and love. Once we incarnate enough and get all of the lessons we will learn from Earth, we continue on in other higher realms and continuously grow in an infinite way.

I recommend these books more than I would recommend the first book. However, the full picture is probably very important to just read all of them.
