Even before my father passed, I had heard about Many Lives Many Masters by Brian Weiss. My co-worker mentioned that these were her first books that really expanded her understanding of life and the other side. My hypnotherapist mentioned that Michael Newton’s books (Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls) were Brian Weiss on steroids. I remember thinking that there likely wouldn’t be much more more that I learned about from Brian Weiss that I hadn’t already learned from Michael Newton. However, I became determined to read these books for a few reasons. First, someone had told me about these books awhile ago and I should have picked it up then. Second, they were pretty quick books and I think by this point I was a little tired of listening to 8 hour+ books.
I think where Michael Newton and Brian Weiss differ is that Michael Newton focuses on the life in-between lives and Brian Weiss focuses on past lives specifically. I think around that time, I still wasn’t too keen on the ideas of reincarnation and people having multiple lives made me uncomfortable. However, Michael Newton took me to the place in between our multiple lives and I learned about how we prepare each life with meaningful souls that we join in on every trip. This helped me to accept Brian Weiss’s case studies a little bit easier.
I do recommend these books. They are pretty short and do a great job of showing how our lives cycle and impact future lives.
