The Books Forgotten Part 1

So these books I am struggling to remember, so I am just going to write down the titles and a quick explanation (if I can even remember).

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne – Introduction to Law of Attraction.

Memories of the Afterlife by Michael Newton – Similar to his other books, this was about life between life regression. I believe that stories involved in this book came from all of the students of Michael Newton that went and did their own LBL regressions and Michael Netwon compiled the best ones for his book. However, I think the inspiration and ideas that came from it were very similar.

How to Have an Out of Body Experience by William Buhlman – Wow, hardly remember the title. I am sure I picked this book up because of the books by Robert Monroe. Either way, I imagine this book had a lot of suggestions on what you could do, but I don’t think I really tried or dedicated myself to the practice. Maybe it’s something to go back to one day.

The Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell – It’s interesting that this book has popped up in my life a lot based on my love of mythology. When it started popping up as a reference in spiritual books, it pushed me to actually look into it. The idea is that mythology is so ingrained into who we are as people that we crave stories that show the hero’s journey because we are all heroes. It does a deep dive into these ideas and concepts.

Jesus and the Essenes by Dolores Cannon – Dolores Cannon was the hypnotherapist that talks about people having other lives outside of earth (aliens). This hypnotherapy book was following the past life of someone that walked with Jesus. In a tinfoil hat way, it actually was very interesting. When I was in high school, there was a book I read called Joshua which was written by a priest and explained what would happen if Jesus came back to the world today. He would be disavowed by the people that so greatly worship him. This idea was fascinating to me, and I think in the same way that this past life regression put Jesus in a light that makes SO much more sense than what is taught about him. Even if it was very “woo woo”, this book gave me a lot of interesting thoughts and ideas about my concept of who Jesus was.
