The Physics of God by Joseph Selbie

Part of me believes that I read this book too early. It did not leave me with a lasting impression, but I think that is because my mind was still very specific as to the inputs I gave it. I was very skeptical back then, and while I was opening up to new ideas, it was easy for me to be put off.

I think I cast judgment on the author when he dove into how certain drugs allow people to find the other side. I admit, I struggled with this because back then the stigma of my mind cast these thoughts aside. Now looking back on it, I find that I was being silly.

Alas, I do not remember a whole lot from the book, but I do remember that there was a lot about quantum physics. I learned about quantum entanglement as well as how important it is for the world to operate when there is an observer watching it. Particles behave differently depending on whether we see it, and that directly impacts my belief today of how we create our own reality.

It may be easy for me to push this book aside and say it was not as important, but I think it did lay the groundwork for many other books to finally reach me.

A quick and forgettable book for me, but likely just as important for my overall path.
